About how many miles is the stock suspension (shocks&struts) god for? I have 183,000 mile on mine now and the car still rides as smooth as the day I bought it new in 95. I was wanting to put some lowering springs on it, which brings me to the question, which is better, linear or progressive rated? Thanks, blazz

I'd go with linear simply because it makes handling more predictable. However, if the roads near you are bad, prgressives would give a soft ride when not pushing the car (tooling around town, going over speed bumps and pot holes) but when pushing the car (doing 80mph on a winding road) would provide more resistence.

If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Lowering springs

I saw some linear rated lowering springs for$80/pr and I thought that was a good deal. I knew linear were better, but I just wanted an opinion, and you gave the opinion I wanted to hear. Thnks, blazz
