Stopleak is a waste of time.

Some shops will fix a leaky radiator, even the plastic/aluminum ones.

It is easy to replace the radiator yourself, and a new one can be bought for anywhere from $130 on up.

hell, for 430 dollars I could put 03 cobra radiators in all my fords. Call dan newman up and order a tbird radiator, or if you want aftermarket check out radiatorbarn.com

430:eek: www.radiator.com OE 156 and some cents i got it in 3 days. Add about 30$ for hoses and some coolant, do it yourself. Its frickin easy.

I had very little luck with "Stopleak" or it's variable competition. It stopped a leak for about 24 hours...

It's very easy to replace the radiator youself, and doesn't cost very much, either, just like the other posts mention.

I'd say "Do it yourself" and avoid spending the amount the shop quoted.

Edit corrected typographical error....

ive had great luck with it over the years..stopped a major cracked head, headgaskets, rads etc....saved my butt when tow car pitched a rock thru my bracket racer rad...but like anything else there were times it did nothing...

But havnt used it in a newer car....lotsa plastic there and dont know if it works on that.....will plug up a heater core tho if you use it enough..:)

Dump it in,..whats the harm ...sound slike you gonna fix it proper or unload it later anyway....
