I've searched for other posts looking for these symptoms, but can't find them all together...
1. When cold, tranny has VERY slow/soft 1-2 shift and almost as soft 2-3.
2. When doing aforementioned 1-2 shift, a strange, almost 'squishing' sound is heard.
3. After warm-up the shifts firm up, but a whining sound is heard at WOT.
4. When warm after a WOT downshift(OD to 2 or 3), the revs pickup then drop maybe a hundred RPM.

Now some info. The tranny is now at 99k miles and had a full J-Mod/upgrade at 38k miles. The correct rebuild has been confirmed. The TC was also replaced at that time with a smaller 2800RPM stall unit. Fluid is full. Have chip with programming for TC/tranny upgrades and WOT lockup(thanks to The Man).

I'm leaning toward the TC going, as I'm not sure it's holding up to my J-tune, with it's lockup at WOT. The TC GP with a 9.5" unit is lookin REAL good. Plus the source was someone we don't talk about 'round here anymore.

Anyone have any input on this?
