I have seen post with po420 and then others with po430. My question, I have both! Oh, and 172XXX on the clock. I am guessing that I have either burnt up the cats on the german autobahn or the down stream O2 sensors. I am comtemplating just hollowing out the cats, and putting simulators on? Good or bad idea, I can do it all at the on base shop and only have to pay like twelve dollars for a lift.

thanks

if you do that dont expect to pass emissions if you have that. otherwise that may be the easiest and cheapest way. otherwise ud need to either change O2's anf if it dont fix it then buy more part for cats and replace those.

Your proposed solution (hollowing out the cats & using simulators) is going to be the easiest and most cost effective way to solve your problem. Since the downstream 02's don't affect the performance of your car you won't have a problem. But like it was said if you have emissions testing, you won't have a chance at passing.
