...is there a proper tool to pop center caps on stock wheels. I got the gen 1 sc rims for the all metal style center caps opposed to gen2 crappy plastic that breaks eventually without the perfect tool to not break em. Btw anyone ever break one of the metal center caps either 15"(like for chrome fanblades) or 16" sizes.

I have always carefully used the prybar like what is on a tire iron. Never had a problem.

My wheels are painted, so I use one of those plastic upholstery tools to avoid scratching the paint. But if your wheels aren't painted, then a flat head screwdriver works just as well.
