Does anyone know what I am hearing on Japanese cars with turbos...like a blow out valve on a waste gate or something? I've read a little bit on em but what do they actually do? and can that sound be incorperated into a supercharged system on birds?

Thats a blow off valve to relieve excess boost, and no, you can't do it to an sc

you can get a relief valve, but they are not nearly as loud as a BOV


EDIT: just realized this is the SC forum, the relief valve ive seen is for vortechs
