ok here's the status on my current suspension. went to have it aligned last spring and was told the toe on both rear tires and the left side camber settings are out of alignment and adjustment bolts are frzozen. on the front my caster cannot be adjusted on either side and the camber is again off on the left side. so at this point the car has 108000 miles on it, spent the first 8 years of its life in chicago and the last 5 in iowa. so i'm wondering what it would take in terms of parts and dollars to remedy just this issue or if i would be better off completely rebuilding the front suspension since i need new springs/struts anyway. any input would be greatly appreciated, and recommended brands of parts as well. i'm not looking for top of the line components as i am still planning on converting to an mII front supsension in the next year or 2 but this car is my daily driver so i need to get it taken care of. thanks, Dave

I've been subscribing to Alldata for the last 4 years. It's $25 dollars a year on line. The part I like is that it is dedicated to just your year and car. You will be able to see part Ford part #s, and the retail price at the counter right down to the penny. On line Ford parts are at about a 20% discount. It will also show you the shop labor time for repairs. This is great because you don't get burned for a straight out of the book repair. There is more but the thing is, if you find a shop that you trust, you can buy all the parts and just pay for labor. I kind of question the shop you talk of because they should have all the tools to drop that front end on the ground in 60 minutes after lifting it up.

well its been to multiple shops and i get the same reply, the bolts are just that rusty. i have a feeling with a rose bud i could prolly break it loose with the torch
