The 7.5" and 8.8" centersections use the same driveshaft mounting flange. Meaning that you can bolt an 8.8" centersection into a car that came with a 7.5" centersection without a problem.
Everything from a supercoupe rear end can be installed onto your LX. Though the only parts really worth changing are the centersection and halfshafts. Oh, and the rear disc brake setup, if your LX has rear drums.
awesome, you guys have been a great help. i got a price for about 90 bucks axel to axel at a pick a part junk yard here in houston. so whenever i get the time to do it, i'll go get it done. ill post pics or something of the install.
