I have a question. If I was going to switch to conventional brakes on my 89 SC, and had access to a 93 SC parts car, could I simply take the brake master cylinder and brake booster from the 93 SC and pipe in my existing brake lines to the 93 ABS master cylinder and just cap off the big pipe that goes to the 93 ABS module? Would that not give me conventional brakes with vacuum boost or am I missing something?

from what i read on scca, you need a LX booster/master cylinder and resevoir, the block thing that the line goes into and splits and some skill with bending brake line. the lx block has 4 outlets and you only need 3 for a s/c cuz the back runs off one line, not two so you plug the unused hole. the trickiest part i guess is cutting/bending the lines in the engine compartment to fit on the lx one. i will try to find the page for you.

I know that when I adapted the SC steering rack and brakes to my car I just removed the useless sensors and I was good...
