I agree with thomas here, if you're looking for a budget converter. The Marauder TC is the best value. If you're seriously into racing then look into a PI Stallion converter or a Morris converter, Which is what JL uses if i'm not mistaken.
agreed, maruader tc all the way with mark viii flex plate
along with the j-mod , a nice tranny cooler, 93 mark viii one piece aluminum ds and chip and you'll have a killer set up

I have a 1996 Mark VIII.
It is tuned with Quarterhorse and has dual cat back exhaust which has made a difference up top/on the highway for sure.

Not sure if any of you have seen this, but this would make the rear hub swap much more affordable. I was going to re-drill my purchased hubs, but @99.95, I'd rather have new with zinc coating.

I was wondering who uses overdrive (O/D) when driving around town (speeds under 55). I am always flipping the O/D button depending where I am driving. Does it cause wear to the trans. if the O/D is disabled for extended times. At constant highway speeds I always enable the O/D.
When accelerating then letting off the accelerate Im getting a slight clunking from the rear of my car, it's mostly when the car is cold, sounds like something is knocking back and forth in the trunk area, haven't got a chance to get her on a lift yet. Not sure if this is a problem people run...
