i just recently flushed my radiator and replaced my fan and all that good stuff in my 94 4.6 bird. and im not sure if my low speed on my fan is turning on. i heard its supposed to come on at about 205 210 but i dont know if thats right. any one know for sure if thats close??? i got an ACTUAL temp gauge not a dummy one so i kno for sure what the temp is. and 1 more thing is does any one know what temp is dangerous to be sure i never get there??? thanks for your help

I'm curious to know what temp the guys with 180 t-stats are having their fans come on.

Chris,

The typical approach with a 180 degree t-stat is to have the tune change the e-fan set point to 196 degrees. That is what I've had on my car for many years and it has worked well.

Stock calibration has the low speed fan coming on at 210, high speed at 220.

Chris, I've got my low speed fan coming on at 200, high at 210.
