How well does the stock temperature sensor work on the 3.8? I was told that I could possibly hook my electric fan to this, but I am not sure. Any information would be great. Thanks.

I would try getting a thermometer that reads high enough and a pan of water on the stove with the temperature sender out of the car. Measure the resistance across the sensor and verify the temperature against your thermometer as you raise the temperature in the pan. This of course depends upon how the fan controller that you got kicks into "go" mode. If it uses a closed circuit to trigger it or if when the resistance (temperature) is right it kicks into action. I believe you mentioned previously that yours is adjustable so it has something to do with the resistance.

You need to verify that the curve you get will work. Ford's sender may not be as linear with the temperature resistance curve as the sensor that came with the fan controller or vise versa.
