Well the coolant light has started to come on and I have pinpointed the leak to the passenger rear of the intake manifold. My car still has an all plastic intake that I was hoping would last me to the end of the summer. It seems to be leaking from around where the hose attaches for the heater core. What is the best temporary repair to get me through the next month or two. I don't drive the car very often except when the wife takes the other car and the hottest weather has passed. The whole motor will be getting swapped this winter so I don't want to tear into this one if I don't have to. No more plastic intakes for me ;)

Thanks,
Bryan

My best temporary repair which has held up for almost a year on the RH rear of the intake is to pull the brass hose barb out of there, tap threads into the hole in the intake for 1/2"npt put urethane on a 1/2" pipe nipple and screw it in, then urethane the crap out of the base. Who knows if I could get this to work two times in a row though. Good luck!
