No, not doing a supermodel, just repurposing an old diecast.

Started off with a Mark Martin ("the fastest name in motorsports") 1985 Thunderbird that I couldn't sell on ebay. Stripped off the decals and paint (Walmart sells bottles of 100% acetone cheap). Repainted and redecalled with stuff I got off ebay. I'm happy with the color of Testors 1203 Gloss Red and I like the coverage of Testors 1961 Gloss Enamel.

LOL That's great! Stroker ACE special! I haven't given that movie any thought in YEARS!

I bet it would sell on Ebay now for quite a bit!

Pretty much devoting my display case now to models I've done. There's someone on ebay that sells all types of custom NASCAR diecast, much better detail than what I can do, for like $150-$200. Getting it, too.

Some say Burt Reynolds was a fool for turning down the role and almost guaranteed Oscar for Terms of Endearment to do Stroker Ace, but I for one will watch Burt dressed like a chicken in an aero bird stock car date raping Loni Anderson any day before watching that boring chick flick! 😎

Great work!
