Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
Wow, that is hazy! Looks really good. I look forward to getting out again and sampling the latest. I've really been off of the beer all summer with the 'RONA going 'round and sheltering in place at home for the most part all summer.Haze of the Dead Hazy IPA Destihl Brewery, Normal, IL. 🍺

Would have been funnier if I was in it!REAL Bostonians agree ...
This is some funny Sh!t !!! Check it out!!
It's very nice. Normally, I'm not a Bourbon drinker- more Scotch. My older brother is and bought me that for my 40th birthday a month ago. My older sister bought me a fancy cask strength Makers as well. Haven't dabbled in that yet. How'd you like it?
Do you find it too sweet? That was my problem with a lot of bourbons vs irish whisky or scotch.I've gotten into bourbon this year. Drank Scotch some years ago also. I find bourbon has more of the oak flavors. Cask strengths have some very interesting flavor profiles.
Jefferson's is from Kentucky, but literally loaded onto a ship and put to sea for 3 years. The constant moment in the cask is supposed to age it quicker.Q: Isn't bourbon supposed to be from Kentucky? If so, how is Jefferson's aged at sea?
