I've recently been listening to the first three albums by Boston. Some really good rock and roll on those discs!

I also just ordered the 10-CD set of remastered performances from the original Woodstock.

I agree, loved the first album when it first came out.

I heard on a local station there was a 38(?) CD limited package out there of everything performed. Care to burn me a copy? :D I'll pay you handsomely!

There is going to be a 38 CD set (not available yet AFAIK), but it will cost $800 plus tax and that is too much money! SiriusXM was playing a bunch of stuff I'd not heard before from the big set last week, and it wasn't all great performances. The 10 CD set of highlights, but including something from all 38 acts, seemed like the better compromise. I got it off Amazon for $106 plus tax.

The local station said that WXPN in Philadelphia was playing the 38 CD set in real time.

I remember when the album came out, one kid in school brought it in for everyone to listen to during art class Fridays. The nun wasn't too happy with it! :D

Looks like there's a few of the artists coming out with their own individual CDs for Woodstock, CCR is on my radar.

I saw those guys in the 70's; they were awesome.

They toured the first two albums, a couple of years apart; I've got a bunch of ticket stubs somewhere, but cant find them.

Concerts here were ~$5 then. :)

I saw Alice Cooper and Bob Segar in 72, at the civic Colosseum in Knoxville; tickets were $6.

Alice came to Knoxville a couple of weeks ago, and the cheap seats were $50. :( The Backstage Pass was $650, lol.
I didn't go. :)

The tickets for Woodstock were $6 per day, so the people who actually paid for all three days (estimated to be at least 50,000 people and maybe as many as 186,000) got to see 38 bands for $18. That was an incredible bargain even then. Of course, there were other issues to deal with.......
