Would it be okay to use a 180 degree thermostat instead of the 192 degree thermostat it came with. What will happen if i use it. I am thinking about going to a 180 due to the fact that the new inspection doesn't require the car to be run on the dyno anymore. They only connect the scan tool to check if the car is in ready mode and for codes and check engine light. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

the main advantage to a cooler thermostat is being able to run more advance on the timing. You'll lose gas mileage.

So i guess it is better to stick with the original spec thermostat. I really don't want to mess with anything else if i go to a cooler thermostat. Thanks for your help guys.
