I'm just wondering what you all think I could get for my car.

1997 Thunderbird LX, Silver Frost
3.8L

Good:
ASP Underdrive Pulley
Inject Tech chip (raised rev limited, crisper shifts and better shift points, and a few more hp)
Clear Corners
Clean interior
Runs strong and very comfortable (like most MN12s are)
Tinted windows
Cold AC

Might sell with a nice Pioneer head unit and iPod control (with cable) and a 800W sub hooked up to a 10" Kicker CVR

Bad:
3.8L
Tires kinda stink (not much grip)
Broken motor mount (drivers side)
Could probably use new tie rod ends
Minor rust in the usual MN12 spots (not too noticeable)
Very slow rear diff. leak
Slow rear main leak
Might have some vacuum leaks
May need new brakes soon, but could probably go a while until then.

Around here, V8 'birds and cougars are a hot commodity, especially if the body is in good shape. The V6 cars are a dime a dozen, and your list of "bads" is pretty long. How many miles are on it? Have you replaced the head gaskets yet? Friends of mine have frequently said they'd love to find a nice tbird or cougar, but won't even bother with a 3.8 car.

That being said, I think you would be able to get $1000 for it if everything looks nice; that really is the big selling factor. A car could have a perfect engine and no leaks but if it looks like crap nobody will touch it. On the other hand, if it runs pretty good and the leaks are minimal but the body and interior look great you'll do alright.
