thinking of cutting the hood ala mitsubishi evo style. the hole will be cut just after the radiator and before the altenator.

what you think?

A shaker hood scoop may or may not be in the works right now.

I agree, I think a Shaker hood would look great. I just don't feel like going through the hassle right now. Perhaps once all the other mods are done and I have to actually LOOK for something else to do. ;) Let me know how it goes Joel, and if you need help with it let me know. Not sure what I can do, but we could both learn at the same time.

I'd have to see a pic of the evo style you're talking about before I passed judgement.

If you are going to do that just take the hood off and leave it off it might look better. that's my opinion though

Just as long as you think it out good first, you will be fine. I was worried about mine also.








Note: That is a brand new $450 hood that I cut that hole in. :)

Yeah you got a good reason for the whole. With his it's to help cool it and cosmetics. Cosmetically I think it would look bad. There's better ways to do that.
