I am wanting to start aligning body panels, and getting the car in good order to send it to get painted.

I was hoping you all have tips on aligning panels.

For example. My hood has deer damage. I was wanting to pull the dent out, but I happen to think my hood may be 'warped' or so. Facing the front, the passenger side is slightly higher than the fender. As far as the gap between that side and the fender goes, it's near perfect.

However, on my driver side, the gap suddenly gets bigger in the lower left corner of the hood, where's it's been pushed in. That side fender has also been replaced, so may need adjusting.

I was just curious if any of you have a manual? or just any tips for adjusting trunk, hood, fenders, doors, etc.

Go pick up the most recent issue of HOT ROD magazine. They've been going through a complete series of paint and bodywork and the new issue covers panel alignment.
