hi all,

i am going to be buying new tires for the bird (93 3.8L n/a) next summer and was just wondering if anybody had a special brand or type. i'll be keeping the stock 15" rim btw

I just bought a set of Firestone Firehawks 235/60R15 and I like em They seem to handle well.I plan to upgrade to 16" or 17' but want to do some other perfomance upgrades first.

check out tirerack.com reviews.

I went with the Firehawk sz50 ep after a lot of research and talking to many tire "specialists." If you go with another size, make sure the OD is not a factor. Some tires can be as much as 1.5 inches shorter that what you have on. Also Firestone has a 30-day return policy so your risk is small if they don't ride or handle well.

I got Pirelli 400's 225/60R16, best tires I ever had, extremely good grip and excellent steering response, it feels like the car is glued to the street, but you probably have 15's so this won't help you

Yokohama Intermediates. not for winter use.

best all season tire I've had was good year aquatreads.

I just put on BF Goodrich Control T/A tires, 215/70/15's, and they are designed for all-season use (including winter). So far, I am happy with them.
