?

How Wide are your 18's. If you say they fit 225/40 then go 235/35 or maybe.....245/35

245/35 is way to short, go with 245/40, it's still shorter than stock but a hell of a lot closer than 245/35.

go 245/45's, they are as close as you can get to stock using a 245 tire on an 18" wheel. They are just a tiny bit shorter than stock. I'm gettin a set of them in the spring.

The only problem with 245/45 is the selection is only roughly half that of 245/40, but yes, 245/45 is even closer to stock height, definitly do not go 245/35.

My buddy is running 275/40/17 on a 9 inch rim so could a guy run the same but in 18 ? 275/40/18 or would you run into a problem (this is for 89-93 cars) not to worried about overall diameter of stock wheel

I'm running a 275/40/18 on the rear, and a 245/40/18 on the front. Looks great, doesn't rub.

They are only 18x8's. I don't believe 18x9.5" would fit, I know 18x9's are really close already.

Those are a little tall for an 18 inch rim, don't know how good it'll look

I have 255-45-18 on 8-1/2" rims on my 95, all 4 corners, lowered 1-1/2" with Eibachs. Looks good, fills up the big fender openings at 27.0" diameter vs. approx. 26.6" for stock tires. I probably would have gone for 245-45-18, or a combo with 245-45, and 275-40 on the rear, but I got a smokin' deal on the 255 tires, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D2 .... there are a few pics on my site, have a look ...

cheers
