I found someone selling a Texas Nitrous Technologies kit for $550, the only thing I would need to add is a heater (he has everything else, even a window switch). Total for the would be $700 w/ a heater. The other choice would be spend $479 for a NX kit (new), plus $340 in accessories, totaling $819.
So, anyone know anything about the TNT systems? Are they any "better" than NX, or worse? Any info/advice would be nice, since I should have the money in approx. 2 weeks.

The only real advice I will give you about the TNT kit is that everyone that I have ever seen has been underrated. Ex. 150 shot = 150+ at the wheels. I have a friend that put 150 shot TNT kit and picked up 165 at the wheels.

Well I bought a NX kit about a week ago (thanks Charles:) ).
The guy with the TNT kit was flakey.
Ppl w/ NX kit's seem to make more power than what the shot says.
Someone with a Stang (4.6L) made like 101whp with a 75 shot.

Nitrous can be a little tricky.

if the bottle is over pressurized you will see more HP, as there is more nitrous than fuel flowing into the intake. As bottle pressure drops, so does the power

Nitrous works best between 1000-1100 PSI in the bottle, more than that, and you may make more power, but you increase your chances of running lean,

And running lean on a stock 4.6l = bye bye motor

There are a couple people here that have fried there motors by running lean (not me, I just like to blow up intakes!)

It's going slow at the moment, I fell a little behind on other bills, but by december I should be all set. For now I'll probably be using a 96-97 vic motor, ssautochrome headers, off road down tubes(off Johnny L.'s car) and a Mark VIII converter with a set of DR's.And ofcourse a 255LPH pump and an adjustable FPR. I may try to swing a set of PI cams and heavily ported intake if the Mach 1 doesnt drain all the extra funds. Next year I'll be back with a vengance( and hopefully make more than 1 pass)
