These suckers do not want to come loose!!! I know there is a pattern you must loosen and tighten...and I tried with the first one and it didnt budge..


Whatever shall I do???

it is so much fun when this kinda stuff comes around.....

yea i was gonna say...usually head bolts are really really tight, so you could use a 1/2 in drive socket wrench or possibly a breaker bar...

or a BFP on the end of the ratchet handle.

Just go to the gym more often. I used a normal craftsman 12" 3/8 ratchet. It's not that bad. Of course the engine I tore down only had 39000 miles, but they just take a little persuading. Now figuring out the crank bolt out took a few minutes, an extra wrench, water pump bolts, and my Bulgarian friend (who's freaking strong).

mine came off like nothing, they aren't torqued down that bad, jeeze if you cant break them loose, how are you going to tighten them?! :D
