just got a new tps. im trying to get the old one out but the screws aren't budging and are pretty much stripped. tried a vice grips but not enough room. would this work good at taking the screws out.

Vermont American Tool
5-Pc. Spiral Screw Extractor Set $9.99

home depot has it if anybody has the screw size would be great as I wont have to go back twice for new screws. thanks.

I would just use a screw out set...

They look kinda like drills but are designed to grip stripped screws and turn them out...

Id put some penetrating oil on the screws first though

lol they were in there damn good, i bought the $9 set yet didnt have luck with it. I ended up using a bfha (big Fin hammer axe) and wood chisel to chop away at the plastic around the screw head. from there i got my vise grips on with enough room to turn it. they were in damn tight just need new screws now lol they are chopped to hell. :D

What problems were you having causing you to replace the TPS? Did the new TPS correct your problem?
