As some of you know, I am running a C6 transmission. (I geuss this doesn't matter)

My question is this, I need to run some new cooler lines, can I use 3/8's rubber hose for most of the length I need. I will come out of the tranny with about 18 inches of hard line, then from there, can I go rubber the rest of the way?

You can but it isn't recommend. If you don't want to go with hard lines, you should use braided stainless steel lines.

yeah that would be ghetto rigged. Just get some standard hardline at napa, and buy a flaring tool and a tube bender. Run hardline all the way to the front. They sell the fittings also at napa, they cost a bit, but the tubing is cheap as dirt.
