When I drive my car, it feels like the tranny is dropping out of gear and then re-engaging or something. When it "drops out of gear," the car bucks and the engine RPM drop and almost stall the engine, and actually has stalled a couple of times. Other times the tranny doesn't come out of gear, but bucks very hard. It seems to happen in every gear, so I don't think its a internal trans problem.
I have heard that the MLPS can go bad and cause this type of problem. Does that sound right? If so, I'll order a new MLPS and try it out. But if not, what else could it be? Could it be a blown TC?
BTW, My car has 90K pretty hard miles on it.
Thanks.
