Well now that I have it all torn down anyone have tips on cleaning both
inside and outside the case with out damaging anything? Maybe even just a
link to a site with these tips?

**Note** Obviously as many are this way the outside of the case is pretty bad
grime trans fluid dirt caked on.

Thanks

I have a steam cleaning pressure washer and do my own cases with it...I get wet...and hot...and grimy...but works as good if not better than some other washers I can't afford.

I had a guy bring me a case that was SODA blasted...it was STRIPPED and paint took to it like a magnet...but I had to recondition the servo/accum bores.

Pressure washer and any chemical degreaser/cleaner that is safe for aluminum. I've used Terra Kleen as it's produced locally to me and is what my local trans shop uses, safe for hands, carpet, engines, bio safe, and cleans like no other.
