i had my tranny rebuilt couple years back. the guy that did the work was very good. working out of his garage. retired. he said he put special steels and friction discs used on the police interceptor and that he raised the line pressure. i dont know if he raised the pressure mechanically? because i took him the trannyand ive read that the pressure on this cars is raised thruogh the ecu.
now i have problems w/ tranny neutralizing when trying to take off fast and im wondering if its the ecu trying to limit the press down? or is this a separate problem?

have you checked the basics. Like Fluid level? And the MLPS could be bad but without having a way to data log the car it will be difficult. They are like 35 bux at ricer zone I believe. You align the marks with the transmission in Neutral.

I had issues with my trans going into neutral on hard acceleration a few years back after my rebuild. I found the trans was running too hot. I installed a trans cooler and all the issues stopped.
