hi this summer im swaping a tremec 3550 into my 94 cougar i need to know how much the drive shaft has to be cut and any other helpful information on it

well the tremec is supposed to be interchangable with the t5 and i have a 3.8 if im right everything for the 5.0 t5 swap should be the same for the 3.8 t5 swaps

i'm medicalmikes friend, i'll be helping him with the tremec swap over the summer, how much horsepower will the aerostar driveshaft support? because we dont wanna break it after we put in the 5.0 and a blower

it should work cause the t-5, tremec tko, and the 3550 are the same length, on my buddy's stang we used the same driveshaft. If you are shady about the van's driveshaft, get one cut to those specs cause ordering one to be made fresh will cost you a pretty penny

the only problem with shortening the stock driveshaft to the appropriate length, is finding a driveshaft in the area, can u believe this? new york city and we cant find a driveshaft shop? what the heck
