It's not the seal.

Spare tire full of water. When you open the trunk, the decklid drips on you.
No spoiler or wings.

Where could it get in from?

Double check that the wire harness for the trunk lights that is attached to the rt side hinge is not loose and getting in between the trunk lid and the seal.

I would remove the spare tire and lift the mat and check to make sure the drain plug in the bottom of the spare tire well well has not lifted. It is only held in with caulking and if the caulking drys out it will allow the plug to come loose or at the very least start leaking water from under the car.

I did take the carpet out a low and behold, the 2 plugs where the ARC wires come up were gone. I think I found it.

I am still baffled that there was water dripping from the deck lid, but as my wife pointed out, it's hot here, condensation could have built up in there.

No we did get a bunch of rain and no leak. I bet it was those plugs under the carpet.
And the dripping off the deck lid was in fact condensation.

Time will tell.
