OK, I have two thunderbirds... a 1988 TC which is beautiful but has a bad engine. I also have a destroyed 1990 3.8L V6.

I either need the engine from the 3.8 in the TC or the tranny from the TC in the 1990. This is out of necessity as I need a working car...which is easier??

Things to consider: The 1988 TC is a stickshift, the 1990 is an autotragic.

the 1988 TC is (aside from engine) perfect.
the 1990 has been wrecked...three times...at least.

Ideas???!?!?!

The transmission from the TC will not bolt up to your 3.8.
