Yes, all fix body springs should be interchangeable.

I'm sure they would fit, but wouldn't springs designed for a v6's weight be a bit weak for the weight of a v8?

About 20 years ago I had put truck springs in my Mustang LX to firm up the ride and it worked. My friend wrecked his Mustang GT and convinced me to swap them out for his GT springs. Well, the ride was TERRIBLE, must firmer and better handling with the truck springs than the GT. FWIW, I know that doesn't have anything to do with v6 vs v8, but it was about springs...lol

Your profile says 1988 302 ... the larger of the Fox based T-Birds. The Turbo Coupe was a 4 cyl car then, the springs would work in a V-8 car but the front would sit lower than it would if a 4 cyl, or or even V-6 car as the V-8 is a cast iron 302.

Now, if on the other hand, you are talking about 1989 and up MN-12 Super Coupe springs on a 1989 and up V-8 car, that'll work better as the Super Coupes had a supercharged V-6 nearly as heavy as the V-8s.

No, I don't thnk the 1989 and up springs will work on a 1988 or earlier car, or "vicey-versa" unless just by really strange coincidence .... totally different suspension layouts.
