Looking at the Turbonetics flow maps for their turbos, I have determined that the best size for my application would be a T66 P.68AR or T66 P.81AR.

What do those numbers stand for/ what does that mean?

Sorry for the stupid question.

Dan,

Here is a link to Turbomustangs.com that's called the knowledge base...look under the turbo bible section to get the answers to just about any turbo question you have.

T66 means 66mm inlet
P means what trim the compressor wheel is
AR is something about the size of the exhaust housing area and scroll radius expressed in a ratio.

the .68 will spool faster than the .81 but it will stop building boost for the engine at a higher rpm.
