Ok guys, here is the scenario:

I have been trying to replace my old U.C.A.s with absolutely no luck! The ball joint to spindle bolts come off with no problem, but the ones that go to the frame won't budge! I have tried attacking them from the 18mm nut inside the fender with a ratcheting wrench and I have tried with a 15mm 6 pt. socket in the fenderwell. I have used absurd amounts of pb blaster and I have used a 2 1/2' breaker bar, with no luck what so ever. I even took the time to break one of those "flags" off it tells you to break and it didn't help. The 15mm bolts inside the fenderwell have now decided to strip instead of turn even with the correct 6 pt. socket.

I have two options now, pay about $175 in labor, I already have the parts, which I don't really want to do, or...

Take a reciprocating saw to the bolts, being very careful of course. I know this seems like overkill and I have read all the threads I can find, but these b****** won't turn.

Is there any obvious step I am missing? Or would sawing through these bolts be bad, and of course replacing them with new ones? Thanks guys for any help!

Not sure what PB blaster is but is it anything like WD 40 or CRC's 5-56
it's just the saw or grinder left... My bolts got drowned in 5-56 for two days
and with a 18mm wrench on the nut and one h€ll of a leverage I broke it loose..
Oh.. And a sledgehammer helped! Just went beserk on the leverage.. :D

If you have the space, try whacking on the bolt with the sledge hammer..

Oh trust me, I have I have hit those bolts with everything but the kitchen sink...hmmm...the kitchen sink :D

Seriously, I am borrowing a reciprocating saw after work and some safety glasses and going to town on these bastards!

Oh Thyg0d, I completely spaced out about those battery specs. As much time as I have spent on this car lately it is hard to believe, but I promise if you need them I will have them tomorrow. Sorry about that!

Thought that you've already tried everything just wanted
to tell you you're not alone! :D

Going to replace my drivers side while it's up in the air...

No problem with the battery specs... Had to buy a POS battery
to get it over to my fathers garage...
Just pulled the pumpkin and tranny to put in 3.73 gears, Torsen T2 trac loc
and a DirtyD0g TC.. :D

But if you happen to run by your battery it would be great to know for
the next battery purchase..

Hope you get the stuff off!
