Hello all, I'm looking to remove a very unique part on a bird. Most junkyard have them but I didn't want to remove the whole door to get to it. Have any of you removed a upper reveal molding from a door before? Number four on the picture is the part.

Yes. It really isn't that hard. Remove the door panel. Then remove the upper moulding that is on the outside of the door. I think the drawing refers to it as number 5. Then remove the door glass. There is a removable part of the window track that you remove first. Then two bolts for the glass. Once it is unbolted you can tip it sideways and carefully work it out. Good to have a helper for this. Once the glass is out there will be one more nut to remove towards the bottom front of the door(but behind the door panel area). Once that is out, you start to push the moulding downward. You can also pull the bottoms of it from inside the door. It will be stiff, but it will come out.
