I just have a quick question concerning what intake manifold gaskets to use when doing a PI Intake Manifold swap on an NPI motor (1997 Thunderbird). I see some people use the PI gaskets and just cut off the tabs that go into the heads, while others use the NPI gaskets. From what I understand, either way RTV is needed to prevent leaks. My question is (due to my lack of experience in this swap), which are the better gaskets to use? Is there really any difference in the end result? I just want to make sure I get the better of the two types of gaskets. I've already ordered all the other parts / hardware that I need, except for the gaskets.

As always, thanks for the help!
