Trans on a 94 bird puts out a vss signol that gets converted into mechanical movement for the spedo ... I am putting in a t-65 trans in there which puts out a vss signol but it wont work with my stock spedo( ford /gm language barrier). Anyways, if i get a converter for this from abbott to change the vss into mechanical for the spedo i am worried that it might not work correctly, if that converter prevents the vss signol from reaching the engine. Some engines will use that vss signol for engine management. Does mine? Im using 02 explorer engine.

If anyone knows a cheeper route than getting that $300+ converter that would be great help as my funds are low...

The VSS is used for shifting at lower throttle positions.

if a 300$ convertor concerns you, then a T56 is WAY out of your reach.

not out reach, its 20 feet away in my garage.. Cant wait till its runnin with that explorer engine...
