I’m looking for a set of washers that go on top of the front shocks.
I want to party with that guy!!!Unless someone has a stack of them laying around.
Well now I want to try it.I've been in the same boat. It's fun to sit on a junkyard MN12 and undo the shock bolts to get the washers! Give it a try. Or I'll do it and post up a video.
ThanksI’m pretty sure I have a spare set. I’ll check when I get back into the shop on Tuesday.
I needed a set when I put the Koni's together for Lazarus. The parts yard has one of their guys tag along with you, even if they let you roam around, like my local one does. I found a set on a V6 car, and as Gordo said, sit on the car, and pull the Jesus nut.The only place to get those is a junkyard.
One of the junkyards here was a mudyard(two actually but they since paved it) it would have been fun to see how deep you could impale a shock into the mud with this method lolI needed a set when I put the Koni's together for Lazarus. One side was wild, I didn't notice the spindle and LCA had been removed, and It blasted parts everywhere.![]()
I bet if you found an SC or Sport it would still embed into blacktop, especially if you do it on a hot day!One of the junkyards here was a mudyard(two actually but they since paved it) it would have been fun to see how deep you could impale a shock into the mud with this method lol
I live in Vegas. Our pick a part yard is paved. It's July now, so the pavement is soft...Now I want to go try this.... to see if we can get it to imbed into the pavement... Would be fun to video...I bet if you found an SC or Sport it would still embed into blacktop, especially if you do it on a hot day!
