my good friend need to fix her car door in her oldsmobile alero '99. does anyone know how to take off the inside door panel on drivers side? i can;t get the window crank handle off.

Most GM cars that I've worked on require a special tool to take them off. Check with your local auto store and see if they have one. They can't be too expensive, infact I think they are in the "help" section. Hope this helps.

around here, that little clip is called a Jesus Clip. you can pop it off with a butter knife. not easy though

c clip

its a c clip use a right angle needle nose to get it off or a pick, don’t be afraid to pull the handle out so you can see to get it off it wont break.

Easy enough to do. I've done it several times before. I used a fingernail file with the claw end for cuticles. I also used something to hold the other side of the C-clip from moving. Wishing I had pics of the Alero interior I helped paint.
