Let me first say that I have been leaking a small amount of coolant onto my garage floor. I thought that my radiator had a small leak. Because the puddle was right under my front right fender area. Well, the other day I was replacing my UCA, O2 Sensor, and installing a factory rated T-stat. While I was under the front-middle of the car, I noticed a anti-freeze/coolant leak in a weird location. I meant to take a picture of the spot, but didn't get around to it. It sort of looks like the rack and pinion, where it is leaking. But I don't believe that coolant would be in the rack and pinion. I looked all around that area, and didn't see any signs of leakage. But the fluid was fresh, green, and was forming drip-drop (about to drip, but didn't). So after seeing that, I didn't know what to go about fixing, to rectify the leak.

And this morning, I had a huge puddle of coolant under my front right fender. Basically right where the drain valve us. When I get home tonight, I am going to make sure that the valve is 100% shut. If it is, that means the leak is coming from somewhere else.

I guess I am asking if anyone knows where it could be leaking?! I honestly don't think that the radiator is leaking. I haven't hit anything, and the car isn't overheating (which doesn't really mean anything, I know). Would pressure checking the radiator do anything? If so, how do I go about pressure checking it?

I just want to find the leak, fix it, and move on.

this is on your 97, correct? i would inspect all the hoses to make sure they don't have any pinholes and that all the clamps are tight, you might also want to check the weep hole on your water pump while it is running, many times the water runs down from where the leak is and it can get confusing trying to find the source. good luck bro.

Yes, this is on my '97. I am 100% that it is coolant, wherever it is coming from. I had two good size puddles this morning, next to each other. And both puddles were green, and my low coolant light turned on.

I am going to try and take a few pictures of the 'problem' area tonight. The weird area that I was refering too before.

yeah i would check your hoses. then if thats still not it, check the seal on your water pump, it may be leaking at the seal on the timing cover. you can always hose it down. start her up, and just sit underneath it until you see where it starts leaking from.
