I saw this today. What would normally be a mid-late 90's Full-size Bronco has 4 doors. The badges on it just say "F 50" and neither look to be broken like the first number was broken off or anything. It looks to me like it would be a F350 but instead of the bed it has the fully attached to the cab Bronco rear-end. Has anyone seen this before?

yeah i have seen a couple of those before, it's a custom job, it's like a ford suburban, dunno if they have a real name or not. some company does those and also stretches the trucks as well, i forgot their name though.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought too.

come to think of it, i think they had a show on discovery, or tlc that showed that company stretching an f350 dually to 6 or 8 doors, IIRC. they had to custom fab the door skins and stuff to get it to work, and they charged around 10k or so to do it.

You know, if you took an F350, loaded at $55k, and stretched it to 6 doors (seen one, not bad) at $66k you have an excursion with a pickup bed. I wouldn't complain. Then again, parking my F250 is hard enough...

Found it!

7.4 Did I really see a 4-door Bronco, or should I have my exhaust system checked for leaks?

You probably did see a 4-door Bronco, but it's not a bad idea to check your exhaust system anyway. :) A company named Centurion manufactured a conversion vehicle which was a crew cab pickup cab grafted to a Bronco back end to create the equivalent of a Ford "Suburban". While not technically a Bronco, the Bronco community has adopted the Centurian as one of its own. The vehicle came in half ton and one ton configurations. The C-150 is built on an F-150 SuperCab chassis and the C-350 is built on a stretched F-350 regular cab chassis.

Yes those are nice....too bad there aren't more of them running around....and they're better than a suburban, because the fiberglass top is still removable :)

They also have vehicles in Mexico that we don't have. Was down in Juarez in 2000 and seen a new Dodge ramcharger (dodges *bronco*) but this one was extremely new, like late 98 or 99. They stopped making Ramchargers awhile back so I thought, but not down there.

Yeah, they stopped making the ramcharger when they switched over to the "semi" styling so 94, 95?

Pardon the picture phone "quality". It is indeed a C 150.

Since the mid-90s, Chrysler has successfully sold in Mexico the Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and regular Jeep models. The Grand Cherokees are especially popular among big shots, who buy armored versions with souped-up engines, transmissions and tires.

The Durango has the regular model and an R/T version with the 360 cid engine.

"An unsuccessfull revival of the Ram Charger took place in the late 90s or maybe in 2000. This Mexico-only version was an attempt to relaunch the immensely successfull Ram Charger SUV of the 80s, which was dropped by Chrysler in what was considered an unforgiveable marketing mistake". The whole SUV marked was literally relinquished to GM's Suburban. By the time DC decided to revive the Ram Charger, the marked already had the Cherokees and Durangos, plus the whole range of Ford's SUVs including the Excursion; GM's ubiquitous Suburban, as well as the Trail Blazer and its Cadillac sibling.

The first one, the 87-91 is for sale for like $9500. Project MPG.

You can even switch front ends on the trucks, but you have to do the whole thing, unlike MN12s. Fender, bumper, hood, headlights, and grill. A little more work, too, I believe.
