I need to know what the red wire connects to, on the power antenna wiring harness side of the radio plug ins. The plug in on the harness goes to a connector located on the left side of the glove box opening, and then there is the red wire, and I can't seem to find out where it goes. I think it is causing my problem with the radio not working.

whats not working about the radio? I cant remember what the red wire goes to right now but if you tell me the problem I may be able to tell you.

The power antenna works fine, but the radio will not power up. I was thinking that since this is not connected anywhere, it very well may be the problem. I changed out the dash a few months ago, and left the original wiring for the stereo in the car during the exchange, and it worked fine before.

well the yellow wire in the harness is usually the power for the radio make sure thats hooked up correctly this is the radio harness from my explorer(same exact harness) check it out if your power antenna it working then try these wires(on the left)
