The M5R2 transmission used in the MN12s is a tail shifter, The unit from the F-150 is not as the shifter is around 3+ inches forward. The easy swap is the MN12 M5R2 for the 3.8, 5.0 and 5.8. The stock drive shaft will also have to be changed out.
