I'm pretty sure some older F-150's came with it (not sure which engines) and it is a MAZDA transmission, so I'm sure they used it in something Mazda.

Almost sure my '95 F150 has one behind the 300 I6. Can't remember where I got the info from though...

Yeah F-150s had it..........

They also had the M5R2 but the shifter is in a different location.

Well I guess that makes it a lot easier to find one than I origianlly thought. So I could get an M5R2 from a truck and get the B&M Ripper Shifter couldn't I?

Hi Thomas,

The M5R2 transmission used in the MN12s is a tail shifter, The unit from the F-150 is not as the shifter is around 3+ inches forward. The easy swap is the MN12 M5R2 for the 3.8, 5.0 and 5.8. The stock drive shaft will also have to be changed out.
