Me too!
I have the same problem with my car, but I think it's a bit deeper than that. It's real gutless (more than usual) up to 3,200 rpm then it starts pulling. I don't know about you guys, but my 2 3.8L cars always had mostly low end torque and the power seemed to fizzle out at higher rpm's. I can barely chirp my tires anymore from a stop, when before I actually had traction problems. My high end is right where it should be though and I get nice 2nd gear chirps as long as I don't have much weight in the car. I've replaced a big list of parts including plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor, fuel filter, switched the MAF from my '91, changed the air filter twice, tried injector cleaners, checked for exhaust leaks, and can't seem to find anything unusual. Could this be from my exhaust manifold bolts being loose or anything? Or should I just bring it to a Ford dealer and have them plug it in? It might be easier for me to check the codes myself though. The check engine light used to come on alot too, but since I got dual exhaust that has stopped. Anyone know what could be wrong?
