im just curious as to what this is. itrs dry rotted to the point of it not doing its job. its just under my fuel lines. i look in my cars manual and found a photo but no desciption on telling me what its is/ for. (dont mind the date that pic is yesterday) ohh yeah and the plug that goes in the head was barely in there. this normal? its rather easy to pull in and out.

i think they could be more so called vacuum holes! :eek:

you think auto zone or somewhere simialar would have what i need?

didnt the pcv valve go bad every 40k or so
What are you talking about? PCV valves can give hundreds of thousands of miles of trouble free operation. It depends in large part on the quality of the valve and the running condition of the engine.
