if you change the MAF to anything other than stock you will need to have a chip, and pretty much same goes for the TB. The computer is set to work with stock equipment, and it won't run properly if you don't have a chip burned to change those parameters to what you install. You'd also have to consider a new cold air induction. As far as size goes, it's up to you, but you'd probably have to go with bigger injectors, and fuel pump as well, and consider a descent exhaust system. I always figured the super coupe was a supercharged v6 until lo and behold on eBay appears a 1 of 50 made 1993 red super coupe with a 5 liter v8! Bill Elliot edition here right out of Georgia! This the only exception or were there more?
Just came from the Dyno.
Here's what I got:
238.1 rwhp @ 2900
371.4 rwtq @ 3900
The car is a '95 5spd with Under drive pulleys, a 10% overdrive super chareger pulley, MAC intake, 2-1/2 true dual exhust.
I've got to work on the 1/4 mile now!
