What size slicks?

I ran a set of 255/50/16 MT ET Street DR's all last season without any problems. That size will be fine on a 16" sport wheel.

Another question...how about a auto-x racing tire, could that be used as a drag tire, they are almost the same thing being sticky tires in all....would that be ok???

They won't work as well, as they have a stiffer sidewall than a drag tire.

As Rod said, the construction is much different. I tried a pair of 16" Hoosier road-race tires at the dragstrip many years ago, before I had drag tires. They were slower than my street rubber.
