Well, since i just got accepted to college and its about 500 miles away, i'm going to need a reliable car. I have a 94 xr7 3.8, but this is college, so i'm trying to find a 95 T-Bird v8. I'm just wondering what to look for when buying a 4.6. If there is anything I should look out for or anything like that, please let me know.....

4.6s last a long time if theyre properly maintained,,, its the trannies we worry about. pull the tranny dipstick and see what color the fluid is - if its brown/black, pass on the car. The only thing with the 4.6s I can think of is that they tend to use oil a little due to leaky valve stem seals... which wont strand you, but youll have to put a quart in every now and then.
