The purpose of this thread is to post well, whatever! Instead of starting a new thread for a simple question just post it here. Or maybe you just wanna say whats up?

What's going on? Hmm... Slowly laying the last hundred or so square feet of 3/4 hardwood out of the 2000 or so total that needed to be done... :leftright

Homework Question I have right now:

4. (TCO D) Dreyfuss WebMakers Company developed a template for a web page that included a shopping cart and other capabilities to market its software. However, Dreyfuss soon realized it could make even more money by selling this template in modules to others wishing to quickly build web pages to sell their products. Dreyfuss is considering using licensing to distribute its templates. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages to this approach.

Its whatever. Just another day in the life of SCTBIRD ..

Assisted the welder this morning, heres some 6010P rod. Finished up this labratory #126, process piping, vacuum and CDA, all Pro-press .. no fun, id rather braze with nitrogen purge. They stole our gangbox at work yesterday morning, cut the chain lock .. it was recovered today, they couldnt get into it, but there was nothing on it anyways LOL, just some solder and flux and a piece of copper that I wrote on from a last job where this guy stole our copper pipe on a bicycle, so I baited them and wrote "eat a D___, F--- Face", but they never stole it so I left it in there.

Came home from work, pulled the heads off this Chevy Tahoe, 350 CID, selling it to a buddy, dropped them off at the machine shop, both heads cracked = $650 for new heads + valve swap + grind, instead of $110 to resurface. Road was blocked off, crazy dude tried to kill his wife/kid and crashed his Acura into a retaining wall.

Raining like crazy, what is this snow thing you guys talk about ? Its 65 degrees here and im cold.

Made a couple sets of Supercoupe IC gaskets because I sold two on Ebay. Had to run to the store to pick up stamps, went to the hobby shop to get some yellow paint, my 7 year old son is building a model of a 69 Camaro and wants to paint it like Bumblebee from Transformers, got some gas in my truck because im thizzin on E like Mac Dre, RIP.

Did some homework, rolling offsets on some pipes A^2+B^2+C^2=D^2 .. pythagorean theorum minus the fitting offsets.

Talked to a couple customers, borrowing my buddys Snap-On Verus for a Corolla wont pass smog, EGR failed on NOx and Hc .. wrote out a quote for a 98 4runner Timing belt job for this weekend, talked to the guy buying the Chevy Tahoe .. no it doesnt come with the supercharger, if it came with a breifcase full of money in the back seat would you want that also ?? Yeah right.

Had to hit the liquor store for some more whiskey, about 5 shots of Jamseson im cooool.

Just finished watching Bubble Guppies with my daughter, read them bedtime stories. Did some more work in the garage, time for me to take a shower and hit up the old lady for some boss and goto sleep / pass out.

Tomorrow wake up a 4 AM, going back to Cisco systems even though we are done, pressure tested, inspected and rolled out, but because sheet metal forgot to hang a coil we need to pipe to it. Supposed to get my tax return tonight = big $$, and I get my paycheck for the week tonight at midnight.

Long day, like any other. Not enough hours to do what I need to get done and im sitting on the computer on TCCOA wasting time. If I could really speak my mind you guys would say F- this guy.

what a day you had. 65 degrees sounds really nice right now though, we will be lucky if it gets over 20 today.

another month! For us in NY at least.
Just read a long-term forecast for my area... they're saying this nasty mid-winter pattern will stick around until at least the latter half of March, then it won't really start warming up again until late April. :zbash:

Last weekend I dropped my car off the scissor jack right on to the rotor   bumped the car just right while taking the wheel off. I was so mad. Got a friend with a real jack and we got it back up, surprisingly no damage to the rotor, exhaust, control arms or anything. Still I was pissed. Damn stupid scissor jacks...

Driving into work today in my SC, all of a sudden the car loses power and starts slowing down, and is barely able to hold 60mph. Get to work, pop the hood and see this!

I swear, my cars talk to one another at night, and as soon as all of them are running properly without issue, one of them has to make my life interesting. Whatever!

I don't know what happened exactly, but both SC belts are off their tensioners. For now, I just zip-tied the bypass valve open, so at least the car will be able to keep up with traffic on the way home. Depending on the temperature when I get home, I may look at it tonight, or I may just drive the truck tomorrow and figure this out over the weekend.

Way too many things to do in one day, let alone every day of the week, every week of the year. Right now were fixing the EGR on a lexus failed smog, picked up my brand new 350 heads after work / before school today .. they are thicker casting and not cracked in 3 places like the originals. Need to get some sleep, I was up every hour last night for the 5 hours I was in bed. Might get to bed by midnight or 1230, wake up at 430. Breakfast with the boss tomorrow morning, he buys me lunch / breakfast quite often which is great. Yeah this rain is bad, but I guess we need it. Just makes it harder to work outside. Doesnt snow here, ever. Maybe once 30 years ago. For all the times guys here say "I couldnt live in california, the smog laws suck" .. LOL, freezing cold sucks.

FYI, found the problem

Bearing seized up and wiped out the pulley. I know I had another set of tensioners with the steel pulleys. I couldn't find them, but while rummaging through all my crates of parts, I did find another plastic pulley with a good bearing, so I swapped it on, and all I'm waiting on now is for a new jackshaft belt to arrive.

I've been really enjoying my Grandparents new 2011 Taurus SHO, it's tuxedo black and that Twin-Turbocharged V6 is amazing. I'm also really antsy about getting the bird back, it's still at Triangle speed shop.

Dude, I have lived in quite a few spots in this country - South Fla, North Fla, Georgia, Alabama, NH, VT, Maine, Arizona, & California. I've worked in many more states.

Personally, the best weather (as far as extreme temps) was when I lived in Fremont and worked in Santa Clara. Since there are two mountain ranges surrounding the area, it never gets too cold or too hot there.

So I agree with you, California has GREAT weather.
